Something Personal

So far I learn that my followers are mostly from a bank which I work for 7.5 years, it has come to a point that I have to move on, therefore these few days I have quite a bit of ups and downs. Knowing that my baby of 7 years being adopted it is like separating flesh and blood from bones.

This picture is easy if you have a very wide angle, make sure that you get as close to the front object as possible, then wait. Wait for the right movement of the flag. The lighting is cloudy which gives the atmosphere. Most of us when shooting scenery allow the sky to be totally over-exposed resulting in the subject is placed over a totally washed background. Try to capture some clouds to get a bit more things to say. Also, when there is nothing to tell, try to shoot closer, especially with a wide angle which naturally will capture too much. I hope this picture can go into the bank's magazine as I feel that this is quite well taken. Exposure is at +0.5 to make sure that the white flag is captured whiter but not too much to over-exposure the sky. In terms of exposure, this is quite tricky because I have to balance the exposure between sky (not too over exposed), flag  (to over expose a bit), buildings (not under exposed).
